We only collect personal data in cases where this is relevant to us. We will only collect personal data if it is relevant to your activity with Home Connector.

The Data We Collect
If you wish to buy and receive a product from us, we need to collect certain personal data in order to complete the transaction and to offer you our services.
We may collect such data as: name, email address, postal address, current and/or new address (if this is different from your postal address), family conditions, work area, telephone number, Danish civil registration number and bank details.
Home Connector collects and processes your personal data when you do the following:

- Rent out or rent a home through us

Basis and purpose of processing
We collect your regular contact data, including name and address, in order to provide the product that you have purchased from us. We collect your email address in order to send you an order confirmation and a delivery confirmation.
When you pay for your product, we collect your name and bank account details. The data collected in the context of a payment transaction will only be used and stored for payment settlement and fulfilment of the agreement entered into.
If, during the registration process or on our website, you have given us your consent to this, we will use your email address to send you a newsletter. You can subscribe to, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. All newsletters also include a link for unsubscribing. If the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke that consent at any time.
If you do not wish to provide the personal data required to complete a purchase of a product, you will unfortunately not be able to purchase products from us on our website. Your data (with the exception of your email address, if you have consented to its processing for the purpose of receiving offers) will be deleted up to 5 years after the rental/listing agreement.
Other recipients of personal data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties and we do not transfer your personal data to third countries.
If we need to register you for electricity, we will pass on your name, address, telephone number, email address and Danish civil registration number to Ørsted A/S (or other electricity supplier), for the purpose of supplying electricity.
If you are going to rent/rent out, it may be necessary to disclose or transfer your personal data to the tenant/landlord.
If you choose to review our website, your name and email address will be transferred to the review page: e.g. Trustpilot.
We also disclose data such as name/email address to www.mailchimp.com an www.hubspot.com, in order send any news emails if requested.
Your Rights
As the registered person, you have a number of rights that we must ensure at all times. You have the right to request the following from us:
- To access your personal data and have it amended/changed
- To have your personal data deleted
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority.
